Please Help!!

I have rainbow six:vegas for the pc. I HAVE installed both patches(tried once with auto update and once manually). I have a joytech xbox 360 controller. i can use the controller in other games but no matter what i try, i cant get it work in vegas. can anyone help me out?

Set it up from control panel&gt;game controllers. Then enable in-game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

i tried that too, in the game controller options, i made sure it read it right, says joyetch xbox 360 controller. I calibrated it and made sure it was working. I can press the ring button and bring up the xbox windows console but no luck in the game

Whats up with this why would ubi give us a patch if it doesnt work??? I just lost money b/c i dont like to use the keyboard. Common Ubi if your going to throw us a patch make sure it works, and other games that it works on have less money than ubi, common guys help us out and make another patch that will work this time.

fps games are waaayy better with keyboard and mouse, controllers are so clunky and crappy and inaccurate, probably why i dont even like consoles, cant beat keyboard and mouse, controllers are only good for fighting games and platformers lol.

naw man controller is slow and inaccurate and really kills the tactical aspect, tactical shooters are always better on pc and its because of the mouse/keyboard interface.

yes, using controller is 10 easier with the auto-aim function.
It controls you.

and yes, we want it harder for challenging game.
we control it.
