Wow, Microsoft went directly towards Sony & Nintendo and are putting their ideas together. Avatars which is clearly a copy of Miis and you will be able to install your 360 games onto your hard drive to keep the system quieter and get shorter load times.

I would say I like whats going on so far.

I do recall hearing that Square Enix is getting more serious in trying to target the US and Europe as a game publisher, so the only way to do that, or one of the best ways to do that is to release FFXIII for the Xbox 360. I'm sure that there are a number of Final Fantasy fans that own an Xbox 360, and maybe it'll attract some newcomers by the making of this decision. Also, development costs have skyrocketed, so I think that this generation will see a lot of first-party titles/franchises becoming third-party ones, as this will save/make major/small game publishers more money and the same will go for the developers that are working on these games. And the really great thing about this is that it feels like we're moving closer and closer towards a generation with a one console future. Also, I'm just so excited because I've got an Xbox 360, and now I'll be able to enjoy this game very much. I just hope that FFXIII Versus will eventually go multiplatform as well. If not, then that'll be one edge that the PS3 will have over the Xbox 360 in terms of the FF franchise.

Well so far, FF versus XIII is still a PS3 exclusive. I'm not holding my breath now that FFXIII is no longer an exclusive. <_<

I would say a fanboy/fangirl will say that sucks because they dont want us 360 owners to get the game. But, ps3 owners are going to still be able to play it...360 will most likely just get a port.

I didnt watch the whole Sony conf' but wow...did anyone else see the MAG game, with 256 people in one game. Is it even necessary? More people doesnt mean more fun...good to see GOW3 was on their minds.

I thought the conference stunk. I was expecting more surprises. Only things that were interesting were MAG, R2, GoW3, and LBP. I'm surprised KZ2 wasn't even at the show. @_@

What about Rachet & Clank: Quest For Booty? I've always liked the series but Im a 360 owner...

Nintendo was the worse, they did nothing for me at all. Well, maybe GTA: Chinatown Wars(makes me wish I didnt sell my DS)since I havent missed a GTA game since GTA3(even LC & VC stories).

Yes, why wasnt KZ2 shown? Isnt that the killer app?

Wow, Sony didn't show anything. In reference to MAG, (Worst game title ever, by the way...) I think it's way too crowded when there are 32 players in a multiplayer game. They might as well have not had the God of War III trailer, because it mainly just ticked me off because they didn't show anything about it. Is it just me, or are Resistance 2's graphics very meh?

Not just a sony "fangirl", but as a gamer, period. And seeing exclusive titles going multi plat.

I was disappointed to see Bioshock come to the PS3, and I don't even have a 360.

Exclusive titles add depth to gaming, and without them, things just turn generic. Boo!

This is the complaint I don't understand, PS3 users still get the game, many comments so over blown like this guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-uTnqYHZ-I&eurl=http://kotaku.com/index.php?refId=5025315). Sony has lost so many exclusives such as Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil and GTA IV etc... why is this one any different?

I'm happy RE5 came to the 360, because why should I have to pay £400 ($790) for a machine I'm only going to use for one game? That's something to rage about compared to losing an exclusive, especially when the PS3 which is inferior to the xbox360 for social gaming. I really don't see the complaint when taking everything into consideration. I don't really care for both machines (I own a 360) who has what game as long as gamers are having fun, I don't own Sony or Microsoft shares if it did then I could see the anger, because it affects my payout. When Crysis comes to the PS3 everyone will be happy except PC gamers, so it doesn't matter at the end of the day, what goes around comes around.

I wouldn't buy into the PR, yesterday that Sony guy said it is impossible for MGS4 to come to the 360 because of Blu-ray, yet doesn't realise, the amount of install/loading within the game is the equivalent of disk swapping for 5 DVD's, infact doing a disk swap would be faster so, it's a moot point if it has blu-ray or not. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Most likely we wont have to swap discs anymore, the new update this fall you will be able to install games on the HD just like the PS3.

Losing exclusives I think will be a very common thing for all three of the major home gaming consoles this generation, as it has always been known to happen with each generation. The only way that exclusives won't be lost for sure is when a developer is owned by one of the big system manufacturers, so it will then be published only by that company and only for the system of its own. Therefore, I think that a lot of franchises that made the PS2 excellent will migrate over to the Xbox 360 and maybe even the Wii as well. The same will happen with certain Microsoft exclusives. Having a Wii exclusive become ported to the PS3 or to the Xbox 360 is less likely to happen. But knowing that this generation has really high development costs, game publishers will all eventually release certain franchises for more than one platform, except for Microsoft Game Studios, Nintendo, and Sony Computer Entertainment whose game studios will most likely stay with them always.

Those animations are just plain embarassingly bad! And this is coming from a hardcore TR fan. I'm disappointed, highly. Sell the franchise to Ubi, PLEASE!

I have one question.
UBISoft had their own news conference and showed off many games. However, there wasn't a thing about Conviction. This leads me to believe that the rumors are true and that they are redesigning it from the ground up.

Any thoughts or comments regarding the no show of Conviction at E3?

I talked to someone from Eidos today, he's registered on one of the same forums I am on, and he's beating around the bush with his excuses for how terrible it it. Supossively they're going to "knock our socks off" with a trailer on Friday, but if they just show off some fancy CG, I will NOT be impressed.

I'm looking for a solid TR game here, and unfortunately, I'm not expecting that after what I've seen today. It's TRL and TRA all over again...

They arent ready to show it yet, I guess. The redesign rumor was cleared up a while now and it isnt true.
