Hey all,
Like my previous post about the amazing on the spot actual WW2 pictures, I found two pretty amazing vids. These show actual footage of the WW2 pacific Theater aviation. Pretty interesting, Shows scenes that have well ingraved itself in history, Like japanese aircraft preping for the known strike, ect.

No problemo, just happened to stumble apon these, and although i've seen a lot of the scenes/parts already, I HAVnt seen the majority.

Well if you have discovery channel you should watch "colours of war" on the pacific , they'll show you coloured footage of japanese planes driving themselves into a carrier.

yeah I've seen that tv program several times, it's a good one http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif but I've seen it on a channel called The History Channel.

Wow..u sure are pretty far from me! Do you even have TLC, Discovery channel, Nickalodeon, Disney, ect ect...(the common USA) channels?

Sidenote* the US Navy, just previous to the war, had decided to film all of its footage in color (lots of $$$ in that time). so, I'm assuming that if the footage is B&W, then it was either a newsman, or the TV station changed it in some way.

they are amazing videos, relle relle tells you alot from history. I always wondered how soliders and other people reacted when on camera, would they show their fear of war? Or hold it in? I think the fear of war is too much to hold in.
