Hi, I'd just like to add some information to Ubi as to why Heroes 5 on Linux would sell. First of all, the most popular open-source game that is available for linux is Battle for Wesnoth, which is exactly the same type of game of Heroes 5. Secondly, now that StarForce has been dropped, I can only imagine that it might be easier to implement some kind of DRM for Linux. Also, if you take the time to port it to Mac OSX, is it so difficult to make it compatible with Linux as well? I mean both operating systems are unix flavors. Lastly, I think we have seen some interest from a lot of gamers on the forums, and I'm pretty sure that the game would become even more popular if the Linux crowd would hear that Ubisoft wants to make Heroes for Linux.
Personally, I'm in computer science, and I use Linux as well as pretty much all of my friends, and there are a lot of Heroes fans out there.
So I ask Ubi, is there any hope of people like me to see Heroes 5 on linux?
