i would like to see,a level where you see more troops than just your squad, since they can fit 32 ppl on the screen id like to seemore friendlies that fight, supress and die as you do, making you a real decision maker not just a lone leader, in a level where your forced into a Holland town and Forced to retreat after intense fighting

I would like to see a Dutch village surrounded with field which we have to cross. Then the Germans will wait for us at the village. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

I think it would be cool to have a level or two in forrest with a river in it. In Normandy it was mostly fields and hedgerows. It would be cool to control your squads while trees and mudis being blown around. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I agree with Orezai, I would also like to see:

Bayonets.

More special enemy and allied units (snipers, engineers...).

Marching coulums like in "Parachute infantry" (seeing as this is set in Holland and kind of follows BoB t would be cool to see some of Webster's experience to go into it).

GEAR, E-tools (shovels) to dig in (I understand there is a limit to the power of unreal engine 3, but if you can model pixels to the pupils of eyes then the least you could do is allow us to move some dirt), Bayonets as mentioned before, canteens (may slow down gameplay so I'm iffy on that), binoculars, compass (one you can take out and hold not on the HUD), gun cleaning kit (again a bit overboard but it might work).

Oooh, I'd like to fight on the Forrest map where the germans are trying break through the American Lines. The germans have to recover the document bag on the map, then break through the American spawn points and exit the map to win or kill every American soldier defending.
If anybody says anything...thats it! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif

I think it would be nice if the germans have a bridge with MG42's and the Allied must take the bridge over http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

i think it would also be cool if there was a level on omaha beach and you have to help take out a bunker. the omaha beaach level would be cool but once you get past that the levels would be very similar to the ones in r2h30 and eib http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Awww, don't be too sad, even though alot of the fighting in Normandy was similar, Ground troops did have different objectives than the Airborne. Like with the 2nd Rangers. After the second three companies landed at Omaha, over a two day period, they fought to Point du hoc to aid the other three companies repelling the German counter-attack. That would be alot more different than marching town to town before going in to forests and fields to kill krauts.

...idk whats so bad with fighting in levels being similar. as long as the fighting is good in the game... and i dont think hells highway will be very repetetive with the 3 squads, i think theyr really gonna mix it up an make it interesting... and i hope you dont have to command tanks, only the british armor was used i think an i dont like british and americans fighting side by side, i have a feeling the british wont follow orders...(jk)

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gifJokes aside...Sherman Tanks were used by XXX corp.
Allie troops not following orders? British troops were prone to following orders...On the otherhand, American troops tended to improvise to complete an objective.

i was only kidding, I'm sure the British were very Noble and followed every little order... and i dont know much about Market Garden, but maybe as like a 3rd squad they could add a sherman on one of the levels idk just to mix things up (even tho i dont like commanding tanks)

Have you seen the movie "Bridge too far"?
Operation MarketGarden the biggest Airborne/Parachute assault ever. remember september, 1944 (http://www.rememberseptember44.com/rs44.htm)
The events of the assault were divided into four sections: British 1st Airborne Division, including the Polish 1st Parachutists Brigade; American 82nd Airborne Division, "All American"; American 101st Airborne Division, "Screaming Eagles"; & British XXX Corps

10 days of fighting for 1st Airborne Division left 10,000 British casualties.
The SS panzer brigade tried to take the bridge at Arnhem and succeeded making the operation a failure.

More town fighting, thats the only stuff I'd love to see in BIA:HH. And going by the pics we're seen so far etc its looking like alot of action will be within towns, so im a happy man lol.

Plus more open action would be good from outside of smaller towns and alike.

first i would like to see a level where we ambush a german convoy and it is easy to kill the germans from the side and they are all running for cover but have no chance http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

or as has been said a woodland with a river so we fight over the river

troops hiding in bell towers sniping at my men

bridges

erm...there was a scene in BoB where it was snowy and they were in a woodland being heavily bombed by german mortars and they had to take a hut full of germans, somthing like that, or another thing from BoB a level where at night you cross a river without being seen surround the enemy and open fire taking out MG's and then finaly trying to take a hut where prisoers are being held

You really wouldnt open your chute manually. It opened direct when you jump out of the airplane.

A find about BIA: HH

* Battlefield authenticity: Get orders from HQ, go on patrol, spot the enemy, and set up a devastating ambush. For the first time, finding the enemy before they find you is part of the challenge.
* Character design: Lifelike characters look, talk, move, and think with incredible realism. Game characters interact with you and each other like true brothers in arms, trading ammunition, helping wounded allies and civilians, even working together to man team-operated weapons.
* Cinematic experience: As the squad leader, interact with and get to know your brothers. Each character has his own personality, unique story and background, and grows through the game.
* Powerful new units: Players can use or command combined arms teamsâ€"ťmachine gun crews create intense fire, bazooka crews destroy buildings and tanks, and mortar crews pound the enemy from a distance.
* Infantry soldier: Hit the dirt and get prone, rip grenades from your chest, and hurl them at your enemies. See and feel the blast of nearby explosions.
* Multiplayer experience: Fight major multiplayer battles with dozens of players on each side; all the intensity and accessibility of Deathmatch meshed with the squad-based gameplay that helped make Brothers In Armsâ® famous.
* Co-op skirmish mode: Team up with your friends online or in your living room and find out if you have what it takes to become fire-team leaders in historically accurate battles from across the Market Garden campaign.
* Destroyable cover: Keep your men moving and choose your cover wiselyâ€"ťsimulated with real physics, weapons will damage, dent, scorch and destroy the world around you.

Nice job Raccoon_2, you will ascend by the General Staff, for infiltrate behind the enemy lines and bring us this valuable information.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Yes, i want that apeared more and more allied soldiers in our screens and more squads that helped us and us squad in some missions, and more allied tanks.

yeah you could not open your shute manualy because the rip cord was tied to a majigity that you clipped on to in the plane then it opened it for you. this aloud the paratroopers in market garden to be dropped in relitivly close areas. due to the confusion of the d-day drops many planes went to fast or to high and men were spread

hartsox
08-11-2006, 06:02 PM
they used that method during d-day as well

I'd like to see a level where you and maybe a whole company assaulting a village with total havic. Say, allied planes flying over dropping bombs, having the sky filled with bullets, and death death death....posibly accidentally killing the civilians http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

I would just like some surprises... maybe random patrols, as I don't want to replay the same situation every time.

I want better multiplayer maps, like maybe a teaser of what the forth game will be like. Maybe a snowy forest or something. And maybe an entire city, not just the industrial area or the main street but the entire city. Make it Big and make it Beautiful.

I would like to see more accesable second floors of buildings included. This can be a great way to check out enemy positions without exposing yourself too bad, and also give the oppurtunity to put fire on enemies behind good cover that can't be flanked.

The few multiplayer maps that have this are elevated to a whole new level. (Pun intended.)
