Conf. network speed ?

I have ASDL. The net part of conf is as follows :

Some guys reckon the speed should be set to 14 or 28000 for online play for adsl, should I change mine and if so which line ?

Its a can of worms Tyke! In the online war manuals,it specifies setting your connection to 1500 (thats 14.4) or 3000 (28.8).Hyperlobby default is 8000,I have seen others recommend 28000 so who knows http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Set it for what the host recommends, most hosts have a good reason for recommending a certain speed.

Also, if you're flying at Hyperlobby you'll have to change the hlpro.ini file in your hyperlobby installation folder as well, Hyperlobby overides the conf.ini setting when you join from there.

In conf.ini the line you're after is "speed". In hlpro.ini the line you're after is "clientRate". In hlpro.ini you also need to make sure you've made the change in the right place. The [il2 sturmovik] section is for the original IL2 Sturmovik room, the [IL2 Forgotten Battles] section for the FB, FB/AEP and FB/AEP/PF merged room and the [Pacific Fighters] section for PF standalone room.
