merc vs spy is coming baq 4 CT [yes!!]
3 new modes
 Scenario: diffferent objectives depending on the map
 disk hunt: find hidden disks b4 the other team does
 dm: self explanatory

another site that i was at today said that in scenario mode itll be neutralization(probably of some info on a computer), extraction(stealing info on a disk probably), and a bomb defusal type of thing. itll be one of these for scenario mode depending on the map because each map will be designed specifically for one of these so the game is a little more balanced. disk hunt, is where a disk(s) will be randomly spawned at different parts of the map and to win u must get them all back to ur spawn b4 merc. deathmatch is self explanatory.

I just can't wait. I heard that the merc will have a choice between his trusty AK, a shotgun, or an uzi. I'll be sticking with the AK. No doubt. Unless deathmatch I suppose then I'll take much satisfaction in blowing a large hole in the spies chest with the shotgun and watching him fly 10 feet back. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Well. I will tell you what a shotgun will probably do. You will nail a spy in the face with about 20 flying fragments from a shotgun. He will stumble and then turn around, shock you, and jump you.

s-a-m-i-a-m...man, the mercenaries gun is not a freakin AK 47..unless you meant somethin else by AK...in which i would then not know what you are talkin about

Okay sorry there man. It's an M 160. I don't have a perfect knowledge of guns and for some reason I thought I read something that said it was an AK.
PS- Why are there so many people on this forum that love to point out peoples mistakes? Take your meds and calm down Xietsu. I don't know how that offended you, but you're obviously hurting. Maybe I can help... tell me about your mother...

well i think the nd133s or whatever will be gone and maybe no alarms in maps
cuz i dont think its fun with dm on museum,cinema or another map with cameras lasers and Md's all over the place.

Personally I hope there is more security. A nice feature would actually be random placement of lasers and motion detectors like the lasers currently on Museum. I wonder why they didn't make that feature for any maps besides Museum. Another thing I would like is the ability to "rearm grenades" at the ammo crates.

Back on topic, Rhoulette- any chance on getting specifics on the gameplay modes?
DM-what is the format and equip options?
Will it be spy vs merc or spy and merc vs spy and merc.
Whats the "mission" mode?
Why no extract,sabo, and neut?

Extract, Sabo, and Neut are no longer relevant.
In PT they had something to do with the single-player story. I'm sure something similar is being planned though.

BTW, the M 160 thing I looked up in the instruction manual. What's that you ask? It's the little book type thing that comes with your discs and has words in it. Now the question is, "is it actually an M 160?" I have no idea. Like I said, I don't know guns. And also, this just in, Charleton Heston is really not the President of anybody. There are some misleading bumper stickers out there so be wary.

Nah it looks, fires, and clip loadout is closer to the Sig 550 and 551. Could also be an HK variant.

*ahem* You guys will get details on the SCCT Versus modes in the coming months, but we're keeping them mum for the time being. We're still several months out from launch and we don't want to blow all the good details too soon.
