IGN release date says TBA 2005

I noticed that before IGN had posted Splinter 3 to be released sometime this year. Their release date chart now says TBA 2005.. has their been a setback?

Don't believe everything you hear (or read in this case) .. especially if its not on Ubi's official site http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif If there is a setback of any kind, Rhoulette will let us know.

I think Rhoulette came in said hello, was inundated with "I NEED MAPS FOR SC2" and "PLEASE INCLUDE A BETTER 2vs2 MODE IN SC3!!!" and "OMG YOU MEAN XBOX and PC ISN'T GOING TO LAUNCH SIMULTANEOUSLY!!" and he ran back to the the developers.

Also that date "TBA 2005" is for the Xbox version of SC3. Which could be true, only the PC version was announced for 2004. If that's the case that would suck, BUT, as an Xbox owner would allow me to feel my SC:PT purchase was that much better (hopefully with all the future DLC pouring down my throat I'd feel this way.. even more! yay!).

At any rate ... I'm not gonna take the word of a 3rd party source on release dates, especially this early. It may or may not release in the end of '04, so until Ubi gives official confirmation, I'm not gonna speculate.

As far as I know, Ubisoft has yet to even confirm that it is in development for the XBox. I'm sure the official XBox site would show it on their games list if it had been confirmed.
