I am getting so very very frustrated at peoople coming into me and my clans games asking to do the point glitch this angers us because we have worked hard to get our ranks about 4 hours a day every day and i am frankly pissed that they have not fixed the point glitch and now I hear map pack is being delayed any one else pissed over all of this?

Not to flame or anything but why don't you just host player matches? The point glitch is only for ranked matches.
The delayed map pack does suck though. Hopefully they're taking the time to fix glitches like the point glitch for one.

I think not. If Ubisoft was gonna fix the point glitch they would have done it in the last patch. Sure it wouldn't have been too much of a problem for them to fix, but they are too lazy to fix it. The fact that they can't even finish a dlc in time for a date they set shows that.

Anyways it hasn't been that bad lately. Usually I kick anyone who even asks about the point glitch before the game starts. That usually takes care of the problem. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yea me and my friends kick right when they ask we will not let anyone that has glitched in our games unless they dont ask and we cant find out and i agree they could easily fix it they just dont care and theres a few points of the game id like to change the accuracy on smg's is ridiculous i get very frustrated when some guy with no armor and an mp9 kills me from acroos the level just holding down the trigger i miss the good old days when ppl aimed

1) Rank = means nothing doesn't prove skill

2) People only do it for the ridiculous amount of time it would take to get the achievement.

3) You have the power not to do it in ranked matches so wtf is your problem?

Glitchers have no skill at all so boosting and doing cheap kills show how a poorly skilled player they are.. I mean come on if you gotta glitch on top of the roof so people can't shoot you and you can shoot them by all means pass the controller to your mom and have her play it for you..lol

I agree that glitches to win definitly bring down the gameplay. But I can see why people choose to do the point glitch. I disagree with those who choose to abuse this by killing themselves during the glitched rounds. I have used the point glitch but actually playing out the round I have no problem with. The team that wins recieves the most point just the way it should be. There are a lot of elites who do not diserve thier rank but saying that the point glitch is a bad thing I disagree I would take months to recieve an elite, but if you play it our fairly there really should be no problem with it.

I think, when points are earned properly, ranks only mean what the points are called, experience. Playing only gives you experience, but it's just what you gain with that experience, whether you get owned all the time, or weahter you get better and learn. Ranks only mean that you have a bit of experience and youve played the game a lot. (Im elite!)

i couldn't disagree more, you agree with the glitch because your not good at the game and always loose. i have had the game since day 1 and put a lot of time in. i have a legit major rank and its ******ed to see all these elites. i would like to see ubi reset all elites because there are very few legit ones. it is fun tooling on all the elites that boosted. when i see a elite i figure its an easy kill.

Being part of a glitch match doesn't make you suck I get well past 30 kills every time I play. Yes, like I said earlier there are many people who abuse it, but playing out the matches is the same in almost every aspect of not doing the glitch. The only difference is I recieve more points. I agree that those who kill themselves are in for a treat later when they get handled by lower ranks. But if you play it out fairly where the winner recieves the most points is no different then playing without the glitch. The people who win recieve the most. Now, if it were set up like halo where you can go down ranks I would agree with you completely. But you should not stereotype those who glitch, because not all of them are bad players.

has anyone ran the point glitch lately??? i dont think it works anymore anyways. i play ranked alot when no friends are on and im not on annother game so i can see my stats. and every time the host tries to run it you get about 56 points for the first try then about 2 or 4 after that for a 20 minute match. and its not from people leaving. when people use to leave you could still do it sometimes and it would never be that low point wise... i strongly believe its fixed now.

i dont care about my rank ive reset it twice so i can stay low. i wish i could keep resetting it to stay right at the rank im at now... but i have to go all the way back down. i was just saying i havent seen it be correctly performed lately. but if your getting it working then i guess it still does. must have been the hosts error.

rank does not matter at then end when your score is showing in the lobby..

kind of like golf so what if you can hit a long ball whats your score say at the end of the day.
it looks pretty but means nothing.

Yeah that's totally true. Unless of course you're in long drive competition. Lol.

But really the point glitch is stupid to do. It only took me a month and a half to get my elite. Although playing 8 hours a day is the only thing that makes it possible.

The point glitch is where you go into a ranked match. Play a twenty minute team sharpshooter game. Then at the end of the game noone touches anything and the host start up a series of 3 minute team survival games. At the end of which, the winning team gets 1600 points and the losing team gets 800.

All of this takes a minute or so to do as they are team survival games.Very very very cheap way to get your rank.

Hope that explained it to you. Oh and don't ask me how to do it. I wouldn't want to help anybody cheat.

in my opinion way too many people are a little bit crazy over the whole rank/points glitch, people need to calm the buggery down. hey so what if your an elite, so what if your a friggin private we all were once. i agree with all you people who say rank dont me ****. all it means is that you have a little silver symbol with wings and a sword and that you maybe good at the game (or not), if you are then cool you enjoy blowing the **** out of people.

i got all the way to 1st Liet. without cheating at all and ONLY doing team sharpshooter or team survivle. Then, i realized that the DEVS don't really care about spending time on this game to fix the many glitches and cheats, so why the hell should I spend anymore time on the game to try and earn all the unlockables that I should have access to anyways? They knew about the point glitch before the last patch came out and still didn't fix it, so I decided to take advantage and got my elite. The only people who complain about this are the people who are all ready elites and glitched to get up there, but want to feel special so are starting to try and get it fixed.

Hmmm I guess if you played baseball you would use steroids as well, cause why play a game on an equal playing field? Why have any type of rules or pride in your accomplishments?

It's like this game I played in attack and defend in wastedweasel hosting room. He basically plays with 3-4 other elites on defense. He restricts all explosives and tear gas and they sit there with Spas 12 shotguns and motion detect the whole 2nd floor. Idk if you guys tried killing an Elite who is all armored up, but basically u gotta head shot him or your screwed without grenades, incendaries c4 etc. So I was basically stuck with using a shield and raging bull the entire match, 1 shot with raging bull kills most guys normally and I did manage to kill 1 of these Elites with a head shot. Took 3-4 shots with a raging bull hitting him in the chest to kill him.

So there is a price we players who get our ranks legit pay when we have to play noobs who boost their rank not thru skill but a glitch. Playing against people who need an edge to win is no fun for anyone. The group of losers in the game mentioned are doing cheap kills why? I mean if you guys are already Elites why are you setting the game up so you can't lose? For points? I think your the highest rank you can be..lol .. Or you guys just that lame of a competive player? I wonder when you play cards, if you have to have all 4 aces in your hands before the cards are dealt. That way you can always say your the best card player..lol

Idk about anyone else but when I keep seeing a players name glitching I tend to either kick them out of game if I'm hosting or leave the game b4 it starts cause there are a few good players out there that believe in fair play.

I could care less if people glitch because all it means is that when they get killed a 30 times a match they just get killed in style with all their custom camo. Rank means nothing I would only be mad if they glitched their way in to the leaderboards

The way I see it is Ubi should just make everyone an Elite. Why? Then people wouldn't be stressing about winning every round to get the most points to rank up. Also people might, and I mean MIGHT, stop glitching so much to win. People might actually play the game to have fun. Wow isn't that a crazy concept, playing a game for fun. Personally I think it's hilarious when you play against a bunch of Elites who are absolute garbage. Like someone else said, it's the Kill/Death Ratio screen that matters.

FYI you aren't any more resilient as an Elite than you are as a Private. You can take the same amount of shots.

Bad, bad example for two reasons. 1. The problem with steroids is that when they get out of control in a sport, the players have to take them in order to KEEP the playing field level. If you play ball for a living, even if you're an ethical guy, you might have to take steroids just to compete with everyone else and keep your job. It was even like that in competitive high school sports. Thats why real testing is needed.

2. Getting to Elite has nothing to do with this analogy, because you have absolutely no advantage over any other players. You can just do goofier customizations of your character. If you're getting frustrated trying to kill someone that is an Elite, I hate to break it to you, but he's just a better player than you. Or he has a faster internet connection. Some Elites are really good because they have no lives and really have played this game for 600 hours, and other ones are lousy because they glitched their way in. Either way, their character is no stronger, faster or better than you are as a private.

I made LT. Colonel recently and I have noticed that if I join a room and have a bad round (warm up,talking on phone etc.) the host will kick me because they belive that I am a glitcher(im not). I think that it would be a good idea to allow a person to pick a lower rank, lock it there, and keep the unlockables.

i did a point glitch 1 time when i was a major but ive had the game for a month now and im on my last bar for elite. just like raven said ranbk doesnt matter.
