Now on-line: Ingame Tutorial video Nr.1 to the topic "×structure and economics "!

Ubisoft and its Entwicklungsstudio Blue byte in Duesseldorf start today the Tutorial video row, which describes the play principle of the SIEDLER« ASCENT of a KINGDOM, which appears on 28 September in the trade.

First of these play videos treats the topic "×structure "and grants views of some economic circulations of the SETTLERS.

"×Structure "- video shows the functionality of the clear user surface, which permits a light entrance in the play. Exemplary some resources - thus raw materials, food and clothes - are presented.

Altogether 22 different resources come forwards in the play (to the comparison: In the predecessor part SIEDLER-DAS INHERITANCE of the KINGS were there 6 resources). The number of occupations of settler, which work in the producing economy, is with 33. In addition still further occupations come such as dealer, entertainer etc., which affect also in each case the economy (comparison the SETTLER INHERITANCE of the KINGS: 14 occupations). The video illustrates the resources dismantling and - production. It becomes immediately visible, as animates affectionately the settler figures in the highly detailed represented and alive settler world act.

Thus from settlements large, alive cities become, must the knight and/or the hero - who the player in its role is carried as a king on the map sent -. The Tutorialvideo informs about the transport system of the knights, who of the number of settlers, the development of the main building (camp, castle,...) and the production of certain resources and/or goods one affects. With the transport of a knight new building classes and/or new occupations are de-energised. These are for example so-called hygiene buildings, with which the player can provide for the cleanliness of the settler world. With the knight transports the player receives new play options.

Since resources are scarce, the player must explore the map and send its knight into neutral areas. If the knight enters these map regions, they are uncovered. Now the player can let an outguard establish there and the area take. Often only determined raw materials are available like e.g. iron, stone or also sheep for the farms in the new areas.

The two further Tutorial videos "×needs and economics "as well as "×military "follow up to the play publication on 28 September 2007!

The video is from now on available on Ubisoft TV!

Lol Penny, sounds like your German is as good as mine, I only seemed to pick up the swear words from my travels there and to Austria. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I just leave the translating to our German Admin, Shadowfox http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I obviously use a translator but then have to study it,and pick out the jist of what its saying.

In the beginning of S4,I used to help the German schoolkids with their English homework, and in return they would translate German for me,so it was far simpler then http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

You're lucky, I seem to get stuck with helping our Faroese mod Justice with his homework, I even had to help translate a speech for his mother..........and it was in OLD Faroese, even Justice struggled with that one. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
