mission 2: help I must be missing something!

I'm on mission 2 and I want to build an Iron Ore mine so I can produce soldiers but first I need to build an outpost by the mine. Problem is my carts keep getting ambushed and my hero isn't able to protect them.

Have I missed something blindingly obvious!?

Try distracting the embushers with your knight, they might follow the knight if you send him / her to the vicinity then click away.

Your cart might have chance to get through then.

Failing that, are you sure there aren't any other iron ore mines in more easy to reach areas? Have you explored the whole map and obtained easy to access territories?

I can't remember the mission too well but I don't remember it being too difficult!

I allready got the iron mine (mission 1), but the workers doesn't bring the iron to the buildings, so i'm stuck.
Can somebody help me?

Try making a dirt track from the main road to the iron mine :-) Hope this helps, Lee

I too am stuck on mission 2.. I can't find iron between my borders.. I did cover the whole map, I can't trade for it either.. I did try to send my knight in to make the cart get through..what happens is the bandits take the cart regardless you have no control over it..
I do have iron on the map just not in my borders I even tried to put up iron building close to the iron mine with no luck.
They won't cross borders lol. I knew that but I tried it anyways..
Any one have an idea.. thanks..

You can expand your territory, if it's a neutral one you want to grab, just send the Knight over the border, then from his menu, select and place an outpost, once it's built, the land is yours.
