Okey dokey, guys (and gals), I just wanted to post a little info about the speargun weapon in Cold Fear. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
The spears it shoots are loaded with a chemical/pheremone substance, that attracts the mutants. The creative use of the speargun is thus a pretty significant part of gameplay.
Shoot a spear into a room filled with water, then wait for the mutants to go in after it--when they're all in the water, shoot an electrical junction box, and electrocute them all!
Shoot a spear into a mutant, and watch the other mutants attack him.
Shoot a spear into an oil drum, then blow up the drum! Instant carnage!
Shoot the spear into a corner of the room, let the mutants gather together, and set them ablaze with your flamethrower!
And so on and so on... your speargun ammo will be limited, but if you use it in an efficient way, you can save a lot of your conventional ammo (and do some pretty cool things in the process). http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
