Setting up Bluetooth like Xbox Headset?

When I first played the Beta on my friends Xbox account, when I would issue an order and the unit would respond, the units voice would come through the headset.

Since I own a PS3, and I haven't yet played the full game on an Xbox, I am not sure if this is the case anymore. (But from my understanding it still is.)

So I was wondering if anyone could show me the way to setting up the bluetooth headset (which came with the game) so I can hear the units directly talking to me and not through the television screen.
