New Expansion Missions issue

I downloaded and installed the new U-boat expansion pack. The first mission I get is a supply mission. I chose 1944 and went from Penang to somewhere I can't remember. i arrive with no enemies ever. Launch the raft and mission completed. Then if I exit is say mission objective completed, but mission failed due to exiting. Do I have to sail back to my home base to really complete the mission? What am I doing wrong here??? What is the correct way to complete and finish these missions???

Yup, i'm sorry to bust your bubble... you have to head back to base te complete it. Exiting the game befor reaching the harbour can be concidert as scutteling your sub. You might have completed your objective but you had to abandon your boat, hence failing the mission.
