Steam beta client automatically delete itself?

As title says does the beta client I downloaded through steam automatically delete itself? I preloaded the game and was going to delete the beta but noticed it isn't in my list anymore? Just wondering if I need to manually find it and delete it for some reason.

I have Steam, so I can answer you.

Steam removed the Beta in the Library list on 28 September, but the files are still on your hard drive.

You must uninstall them : they are totally useless now.

thanks. A little searching later and managed to find the folder and delete it (along with some other games left in there for some reason)
