when can we expect the patch your working on?

I know this stuff takes time and was just wondering if you guys (ubi) could give a little bet of information on the patch update.maybe a expected patch date a kind of a guess as to when youll be done with the updates.mainly i am waiting for the riff repeater to have the option to set the tempo and turn on 100% of the song notes.i understand this post might be anoying to your company and apologize for over steping my boundaries.

It has been announced the patch will likely be the end of January.
Ot has not been divulged as to what all is going to be fixed in the patch though.
There have been a few hints of certain fixes, like removing the lives from the riff repeater (or some sort of option), and a couple song fixes that have bugs in getting them 'mastered'. But otherwise, we just have to wait and see.

That's what I've collected so far. I tried to get a more comprehensive list but I haven't found anyone able to give me specifics.

The problem is, once the patch is 'done' it then needs to be tested and approved by MS and Sony before it can go live...which usually takes up to a month

maybe they will fix the dlc "bug" where stuff you already have isn't marked as bought. i hope its a bug and not intended cuz free bird and the other pre order dlc song should be marked as bought imo.

Generally, anything bought 'in game' or with a code will only show as purchased within the game itself, not at the store level (at least with Xbox). This is not restricted to this game, but any game.

Same thing if you buy a 'pack', the individual components of the pack will show as not purchased, but the pack will.

Are you on PS3? I looked in at the in game store from the xbox and none of my purchased DLC is marked it as bought. It looks like it would let me buy the DLC again?

I'm fine with that, bit I can't help wondering how can some developers pull out patch after patch in a very short time, both for ps3 and for xbox 360. Bethesda's Skyrim is a good example.

patching a video game is tricky work, one little change can effect count less other things and make the game act up. i for one am happy they are taking their time with it to make sure its all done correctly .id hate to get this game updated and have some other function be broken,so i think in this case patients is a virtue.

I am on the xbox not ps3. I bought jessica directly from the in game store and it was marked as bought i think maybe the problem is the xbox marketplace and the game aren't communicating the purchases which i think they should but maybe that's just me the pre order dlc i had to put the codes in at the marketplace so that's probably why it isn't being marked properly

I got the 2 preorder songs. I used xboxlive that time.

when Boston and Deep Purple came out I got them from from Xboxlive website.

I used the in game store to get TDG when it was released.

none of mine show up as bought in the store. I hope they can fix the store.
