Finally beat the game!!!! It was AWESOME! Must have died a 1,000 times, especially at the first level of DAM. Good word for that level- LOL.

Been a long time Steam/HL1/HL2 player, and FC rocks right there with HL2! In fact IMO FC is tougher, more of a challenge. GJ UBI.

So what can I play next? Any mods?

I'm playing FC for the 10th time through. Everytime is different as you can take different approaches. Today, I played River in reverse. I mountain climbed at the start, went straight to Crow and shot him, killed the mercs to trigger the Crow death cut scene, then worked my way back to the Osprey aircraft, then fought my way back to the start. Then, just hopped a boat, turned around and went back to the end, enjoying the scenery. There is a lot to do. There are Multiple paths, especially on maps like River or Rebellion. You can see how many levels or how far you can go without firing a shot, or see how fast you can complete a level or take up mountain climbing. You can beat Factory, for example, without firing a shot in about 3 1/2 minutes. So, don't shelve it just yet. Explore! Enjoy the scenery this time! Check the thread below for some ideas.

Like Long said, don't shelf it yet! in addition to replaying it there are a few custom maps developed by the commmunity...

go to: http://www.farcry-maps.com and check out the single player maps section. highly rated ones are:

- matto series (1 to 3)
- outpost22
- madman
- missile_attack

i'm sure im forgetting one or 2 others that were outstanding.. ^ the selection there is great though and have original plots/storylines.

If you open up sandbox editor (should be in start --> ubi -->farcry-->sandbox ? ) and open one of the farcry maps you can move, add or take away things to the map, or just play it through by pressing control+g in there..
Personally, I love sandbox and hardly ever load up the full game these days :S.

Heh. CptLong won't admit that he has been through this game
about 100 times now :-) I est that I'm working on about 60
or 70 .. different each time with different graphics settings
to see the effects. The changes are enormous. And I want
my Frogs back, but I can't run AA on high .. or I haven't
found the secret file to edit .. blast it.

Yeah, I guess if you count the number of times I've been killed and re-started, I'm up there with you. That doesn't even count the number of times I've played a single map.
