We just heard it on the news about an hour ago. 6 blasts was it?
Are you ok where you are? I heard the entire underground train system has been closed down.
It's a terrible thing. We heard there were many injured and killed, but we didn't get any figures.
You think it's got to do with G8?

My cousins live in London, but they're in California now, and my mum's uncle's good there as well... My sister's best friend lives there and she, her husband and her baby pass King's Cross every morning, for some reason they didn't go out today, and heard the blasts and stayed indoors... Thank God for that!!

This has been a crazy and scary day for me. Just got home few minutes ago and i just wanted to let my fellow members that i'm still alive.

Today, somehow i managed to get out of the train before King cross 'cos i was meeting a colleague at Warren Street. We decided to walk towards Euston Road and were prevented by the police to go to King Cross. They redirected us to Tavistock Street and then we heard a big bang. Everyone was quite calm at first and then we all realised that a bus been blown up....



Anyway, i have managed to go back home, then went out again'cos my flatmate is missing and i don't know where she is and i spent all day trying to contact her... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif.

Okay, guys just wanted to let you know i'm fine. It's been quite an emotional day for me.. i'm still quite shaken but fine... It's been a very sad day here in London...

I heard it on the news first thing when I woke up yesterday, and the first thought that went through my head was if Chris and Nolwenn were ok...
Because they are the ones I know of from here who are from London.
I didn't really spend any time here at the forums yesterday, but I stopped by briefly to see if Chris and Nolwenn had been here, and I was so relieved when I saw they had been here.
Thank god you're both ok, and I hope all your loved ones are as well...

Thats very similar of what happened to me.
I was at school when i heard what happened and i remembered our London friend Nol and Chris. I stopped to see if they were ok, and it was a realif that they were fine and to see their post here.

don't you guys ever stop and think that the US and Britain have done the same thing many times to go to war with Iraq? Bush lied about WMD, we all know that. It was propganda. The Downing Street Memo, all that stuff. Innocent people are dying every day in Iraq too, because of the US invasion, backed by Britain.

plus, i don't think Al-Qaeda carried out these attacks....why would they? The last thing they need is for the people of Britain to agree with Blair. this might as well be an inside job. look up the northwoods project (or operation northwoods).
