same problem, can't trade with trading posts!

I, too am on this mission and was having trouble so I played another map (not campaign) and discovered that the way trading posts work is that you must have heaps of the resource you want to trade. I would suggest getting as many fishers as possible going and use that as there are very limited sheep and cattle on this map.
