Being as I am one of the individuals that are stuck with no luck of getting a key, I have decided to create a thread to vent my frustration.

I have to say it is somewhat upsetting when a game announces an open beta, only to basically renig on their deal with their fans by only allowing a select amount to join it.

This is the first time I have seen a game (that I was interested in) declare an open beta, yet they have not enough keys to go around. Why the hell is it called an "OPEN" beta then? Should be called limited public beta or something like that. "OPEN" implies that any and everyone can and will be able to take part in it if they so choose.

Anyways, if your frustrated like me about this, post here and lets discuss our misfortune together.

Sorry to hear about your troubles about not getting a key but they are gonna issue more keys. Plus the retail game isnt gonna hit stores for atleast 2 months.

what's the most annoying part is that they need a key at all! the only logical reason i can think of for requiring a key for an OPEN BETA is to test the anti-piracy stuff. i would be good if they actually took the time to say just why we need a key for something free anyway.

Yeh, frustrating i'm a huge heroes fan and missed out. Chances are when they release more keys, i won't check these forums again until after all those keys have gone too.

Hmm *condescending cough* that would be because HoMM V has StarForce built in, and they cannot simply remove it for a while or create a bypass for the 'open' testers, cause then they would've been the first company in history to release a crack before the game ever came out to retail http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
