Proof that You Can Throw Rocks In Far Cry 3

I actually have proof that it is possible to throw rocks in FC3. Here is a link to an E3 gameplay video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7vzaOtRV3s
Go to 6:30 and notice the grenade icon in the bottom-right corner. Once he throws the grenade, the icon changes to look suspiciously like a rock.
Could this be the proof that you can throw rocks in Far Cry 3?

I think its something else than icon for a rock. The icon is there all the time until the character picks up a grenade. I don't think the character is carrying a rock with him.

Well, naturally, if you have no grenades, then it will only show the rock you are carrying. And yes, he could very well be carrying a rock with him... you know... like the original game?

You guys realy think youre ideas will be added into this game ?
The game will be released in 1 year and
so far I know the project FC3 was started in 2008 you are much much to late to add youre ideas.

to be honest stones would make sense. I mean if you can choose to go guns blazing or take a more stealthy approach, stones can be good for either knocking enemies or distracting them away from their posts.

Seems only logical to have the option to grab a nearby rock and toss it for a distraction or lure. They did it in Instincts...

YOU my friend have NEVER played Farcry 1..... yes you can throw rocks... it's obvious. so that must mean that you can set branch traps.. Throwing a rock onto the tree you set the trap on is a lure so they walk by it and the branch trap sets off. Now you know :)

Sure throwing rocks looks like it's in but the branch trap might not be, Crysis 1 and 2 lets you grab objects in the world and toss them at places for luring but you can't make branch traps in those games.
