The Tom Clancy's Endwar server is not available at this time. No XP or CR awarded. Please disconnect your PS3, throw it against a wall, and proceed to die in a fire.
I get that error...well most of that error, there may have been some adlib in there...nearly every game. I dont believe that it means there is a connectivity issue on my end, as I am not logged out of the playstation network when it happens (I am occassionally logged all the way out, and when that happens I find a mirror and stare hatingly at it, for I know that is my connection to blame...grrrr)
What is the deal? This happens all day every day I play, and having most of your games end that way, ESPECIALLY when you have less than a minute on the victory clock, takes all of the fun out of this game... for me. Im pretty sure the guys that get a victory when I am disconnectd have plenty of fun with it...
So anyway, Im sure im not the only one with this issue. If it is on your end, could you enlighten us on some specifics.
How many servers actually host endwar? Clearly this isnt an issue at the nic on the server, that would be ******ed, so are we looking at the server itself dumping from over utilization, and dropping the responses? Is this something clustering in a few additional servers and load balancing could fix? Are the servers physical or VM?
Router issues? Cisco FTL???
Did the freaking temp running the fiber attach it to the wall with a staple gun??? (seen it...)
Just give me enough info so I know who to hate the next time my game dumps. Any fellow disconnectees, please feel free to vent and bump this thread.
Since I have only completed 2 games out of at least 8 today, I will now proceed to flood the forums with other nonsense...Yes they will all rock, no they will not be nearly as long as this one.
