I really dont want to sound as an ******* but im one of the lucky guys who managed to get Coop to actually work. (cant avoid disconnects, but thats a matter of time and part of UBIs Job)

So me and my teammate managed to get to the cryogenic chamber. We got some stuff and ANTI stuff (LOL) and simply dont know what to do. I entered one side of the chamber, my friend the other side. When pressing use chamber or something (cant remember) we had to fill some pipes with something. But i dont have a clue what exaclty to do. I read every bit in my OPSAT to make sure not to miss anything but the description there is really bad. Something like: blue = A red B purple .....

What the hell does that mean...??? We ended up doing something which killed us. (Some gas emitted by the chamber used up our live energy)

Someone on the forum told me how to defuse the bomb in trainstation (i didnt know you had to use EMV to find out the active wire; why does the **** OPSAT not mention this) and i must have missed something in chemical bunker now to be able to understand this because usually im not that stupid http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Okay, here's how to do both the bomb diffusal (train station) and the chemical bunker virus/anti-virus stuff as well as the missile disarming that occurs later on in the mission (sorry about the spoiler, if that's news to anyone)....

===

Chemical Bunker

A quick note: Getting into the bunker takes rapelling down the second missile silo, activating a panel, climing back up, then using the small panel at the top of the first silo (nearest the ladder from which you entered the area). This will lower and raise the missile stand, which you can use like an elevator. Send one spy down, and he can then send the "elevator" back up for you.

Okay, on to the virus stuff:

Each time, the details about the viral protocol change, so you'll need to read the notes every time you try the mission.

At the beginning of the mission, if you interrogate the lab guy praising the monkey, he tells you the door codes to the walk-in blood freezer. Bypass this area for now (knock out the guard nearby if you want), because you'll need to first know the blood type (something that also changes with each game) first, which you get later on.

Make your way into the area secured by the red security button and either check out the cabinet or hack the computer in the back office to get the info you need.

Once you have your notes, they should read something like this:

Blah blah: Blood type O
User A: Violet D, Green A, Green A
User B: Aqua F, Aqua F, Blue C

Like I said before, the details change each mission.

Now that you know the blood type, go back to the blood freezer and get ONLY that blood type.

Then, make your way past he elevator to the cryo chambers.

Have each agent use the Cryo chamber. You'll be presented with a series of tubes that are both colored and have letters on them. These correspond to the info in your notes. UBI was nice and, if your teammate happens to be color blind, they can just go by the letters on the tubes instead of the colors... a nice detail, considering a partner of mine happens to be colorblind.

Note: The person in the chamber closest to the elevator is User A.

Use the left/right movement keys to highlight the first tube that corresponds to your notes... so, using my example:

User A highlights the tube labeled Violet/D. User B highlights Aqua/F.

With Mics

If you both have voice enabled, the game will not sync actions for you... instead, you need to communicate with your partner and synchronize your actions. If you don't, you'll be hit with poisoned gas.

Without Mics

Both press the Interact key. If you do this out of sync, one spy will say "Ready." Then, when your partner interacts, he'll say "Go" and the game will handle the syncronization automatically. In other words, you don't have to manually sync your actions.

Then, just move on to the next step:

User A: Green/A
User B: Aqua/F

etc.

If you get gassed, it means you picked up the wrong blood type and you need to restart the mission... or you didn't highlight the right colored tube, etc.

Okay, moving on:

Disarming the Missile:

You can use your THERMAL vision to see which wire is the "hot" wire (which is mentioned in the notes if you hack the computer nearby). Once you've directed your partner and used the crane to put missile into the cradle/stand and opened the missile warhead, have each spy stand on opposite sides of the missile and intearact with it to bring up a close-up of the warhead.

Use Thermals and check to see which wire is "hot" for you. There will be a hot wire for each spy. Disable thermals and use the movement keys to highlight the hot wire.

As with the virus interaction, you'll need to communicate and time your actions with your partner if you both have voice. If you don't sync your wire cutting, it's a nice big boom finish. If you don't have voice set up, then just press interact and the game will sync the cut.

I will say that cutting the wrong wire can be really funny... but it also results in a big boom, so it's probably best to do it with someone who wants to retry the mission. =)

Train Station

The train station bombs are really easy to diffuse. Like the missile in the Chem Bunker mission, you're going to use thermals to find the hot wire. Unlike the missile, however, you'll need to perform two cuts each, and the first cut will change over time, so you and your partner do need to actually sync your actions, regardless if you have voice working or not.

The bombs are deactivated by interacting with the panels at each end of the red beam. I don't have to tell you not to cross that beam... unless you want a fun out-of-body experience.

Once you see the close-up of the bomb/timer, you'll need to switch on thermals and check to see which is the hot wire. Turn off thermals and use the left/right movement keys to highlight the hot wire.

With Mics

If you have microphones, you really need to work together for these bombs. If you don't, you'll have a hell of a time picking your bits up off the wall after you've blown yourself up a few times over.

Without Mics

If you don't have mics, just press interact, and the game will handle the actual cut-syncronization. However, as was mentioned before, you need to both be ready to cut at nearly the same time, otherwise the hot wire will become cold and a new one will become hot before you make your cut.

The good news is, if you don't have voice setup, if the hot wire does shift from hot to cold before you make your cut, the game is nice enough to say, "Cancel that," or something to that effect, so you don't blow yourselves up.

Once you've made your first cut, the timer will begin counting down... the first one gives you something like 20 seconds on Normal difficulty, the next two bombs give you less time, so act quickly.

Turn on thermals and check to see which is the hot wire. Turn off thermals, select it, and cut.

Sometimes after my partner has said, "Ready," I like to wait until there's less than 1 second left just to see how profusely my fellow spy will **** their pants. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hope that helps.

I've found that, in every instance of a failed game (disconnection, someone joins the lobby and leaves, etc.), to ensure that I don't encounter problems with the next game, I completely restart SCCT. While I don't know if it's completely necessary, I do know that if both players do this, even if we've just gotten disconnected, we'll be able to play just fine once we both relaunch SCCT. My guess is that the game doesn't close down ports properly on disconnect, so restarting entirely is the only way to have a clean game... but that's just a guess.

The only other instance I've seen where a full restart didn't fix everything was if my teammate didn't have all of the necessary ports open and/or forwarded... but that's getting more and more rare thanks to port issues being the most popular discussion on these boards and in the lobbies.

What exactly do you mean goliathvt. I can pick up a wrong blood type or what?? Cause i remember i pikced up two things in that room during the last game...

Yes, in the blood freezer, you can choose A, B, or O blood types... and it is possible to pick up more than one type at once, which results in the spies being harmed by gasses when they try to perform the stuff in the cryo chamber.

To complete the mission succssfully, you'll need to have one spy grab the correct blood type once you have your notes and know which one to pick up.

And where do i see what bloodtype i just picked up. When you walk up to it you only see PICKUP in your interaction window. It does not say pick up blood type 0 for example...

In the refrigerator with the blood samples there are three spots, on the wall next to them it will have A, B, then O.

Hey Pygmalion1, can you change the name of this topic to mention the train station info that's included here?

Also, the info that's included in the faq posted by M4_007 is incorrect/incomplete.

Thanks.

I know what the problem is. You're not syncronized with the host properly. In the beginning, wait atleast 20 seconds after Lambert stop talking before you go. (Or atleast wait until you hear the rocket launch). The reason for this is that the when the rocket doesn't launch, the second test bay doors don't open. It will happen every once and a while.

i rappled my friend down the first missle and then i fell down on accident. He came over and put the shot in me which made me laugh knowing how unrealistic it is. But the trailer is a good walkthrough
