Hi. I'm reposting this since Ubi deleted all posts from the last 3 months the day after I originally posted it (btw, thanks to all who have emailed me so far):
For anyone who still is looking to get their money back after being unable to play Double Agent, I've forwarded this issue to the New York Attorney General. I don't expect that it will really go anywhere quickly(I'm sure they have plenty of more important things to do), but the state has shown willingness several times in the past to pursue software companies who try to break the law using an EULA. In this case, according to the responses I've received from Ubisoft tech support, they believe their EULA allows them to charge $50 for a game that doesn't work on computers that meet the system requirements listed on the box. Of course, this is not true.
If you are interested in being a part of this action (Especially if you live in New York), please feel free to email me at meathook0000 at yahoo d o t com. Thanks.

Are you not able to obtain a refund from the store you purchased it from?
I personally have no clue about how this case would be pursued in America, but here in the UK, you would need thousands of people to take things further before it is even considered to go via legal channels to obtain a £30 cheque for every user.
Good luck.

This thread was pointless the first time round and even more so now.If it dosnt work take it back to the shop. But remember.Just because you meet the requirements, dosnt mean ur computer isnt still ****.Deal with it.

Most stores who sell software have a no refund policy on open software.

just so u know, most people can actually play the game, why would they rant about it if they cant, only reason im on forums right now is because im lookin for a tip. the game works fine for me.
TFS_Jackie edit: Name calling is absolutely not allowed on these forums. This is a warning. Next instance will be a one week ban.

freedom810.. people might actually listen to you if you toned the attitude down a bit.
Personally I think anyone who doesn't think the game is flawed in any way is just in denial.

i cant play the game either. my computer is new, top o fthe line, and it is just ubisoft that has problems making games that work. this is not my first problem with them, almost no games i buy from they are well published, and this is the worst. i cant play the game, and the forum administrators delete posts asking for help, or insult people who have a problem with ubi soft. i would like my money back too
