Uhm.. ask it on a HL2 forum http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If you go for another cart, choose the 6800ultra or the x800xt pe.

Unless you grow money in your back yard I would say go with 6800 ultra or x800XT http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You should get 6800GT without a doubt. This video card will deliver the same performance as 6800 Ultra (6800GT is a same video card as 6800 Ultra, but its slightly underclocked) and it will cost you about $200 less. If you ask me 6800GT is the best video card on the market and with those system specs you should be able to run HL2 without any problems at max settings and I'm about 90% sure on this. But as ReaNL said you should check out the HL2 forums.
