Hello all,

I am wondering why things have been very quiet as to the release of GRAW on the ps2.

I have been to a friend's place and got a taste of this game on his 360 and suffice to say I was literally blown away by the whole experience from SP and MP (12 hours worth! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

With regards to my post:

I already know that the ps2 is getting on a bit and am not expecting the level of graphical excellence that the 360 offered but I am wondering what the main differences to the 360 experience will be.

From the (count them..) 2 screenshots shown on the official site, it appears that the cross com doesn't show the team mates cameras in SP is this going to be the case due to lack of capability for the ps2, perhaps so but would someone still say so?

Has the prone position been taken out? If so why? It's supposed to be realistic combat not the run-of-the-mill arcade style FPS.

Does this mean that there will be other issues such as the 3rd person view disappearing in SP and the level of control that goes with that? (sticking against wall to sneak a look etc)

Has the storyline or missions changed somewhat?

Will there be an online function? (although I dont use the ps2 online, there are others who possibly wish to know)

Will the weapon list end up changing?

I have noticed the weapons in First person on view, can this be switched off?

Will there be the same sort of control interface (which works well)? or will it become rehashed despite the button location being nearly the same on both consoles.

Is it going to be a direct port from the Xbox version (albeit tweaked to a lower spec?)

Lastly, thanks for taking the time to have a look at this post and I would appreciate that you don't start flaming this topic as I'm probably a bit too over the hill to care about console squabbles. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

cheers

I would like to know also???

UBI realy don't care about the PS2. I'm getting fed up with handing over my hard earned cash for watered down versions of games.
I take it they read the topics but there's abother topic further down...............and nothing.
It's not on UBI. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

That's probally because since the 360 came out. The xbox got more popular and the know one cared about the PS2 anymore. I wish the PS2 version came out a little earlier http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

ubisoft stopped caring about the ps2 even before ghost recon 2 came out. back when it first came out everywheer you look including ubisoft.com there are links and info for xbox, but almost nothing without a lot of searching about the ps2 version of the game..... and now here we are again with everyone able to get information about xbox and 360 no problem, but after being asked the same simple questions such as how many people online, number and types of modes, etc for months still no answer. i even gave up looking for a release date awhile ago because of all the delays and didnt even pay attention to the game until i found out it was finally being released on ps2 this week. same situation with Americas Army. was supposed to be released i believe last september, then got delayed but came out on xbox in what was it november? and now we're in march with a maybe if they feel like getting off their asses and doign something a release date of mid april for ps2... i for one wont be shocked if it gets delayed again. ive kind of come to expect it from ubisoft because of their performance over the past year or so. and after what they did to rainbow six with that awful piece of garbage lockdown i dont think i will be very shocked if both graw and americas army are big letdowns in many ways. im hoping that isnt so... but theyre not on a very good streak especially for ps2.

Thank you for taking the time to do that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Is the game that bad?? I've read a review on ign 3.7/10 and gamespot 4.4/10.
Can it be that bad. It looks ok on the vids on ign??

Ubisoft. Please take note at what this chap has done. You're pathetic! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
