Hello all,
I am wondering why things have been very quiet as to the release of GRAW on the ps2.
I have been to a friend's place and got a taste of this game on his 360 and suffice to say I was literally blown away by the whole experience from SP and MP (12 hours worth! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)
With regards to my post:
I already know that the ps2 is getting on a bit and am not expecting the level of graphical excellence that the 360 offered but I am wondering what the main differences to the 360 experience will be.
From the (count them..) 2 screenshots shown on the official site, it appears that the cross com doesn't show the team mates cameras in SP is this going to be the case due to lack of capability for the ps2, perhaps so but would someone still say so?
Has the prone position been taken out? If so why? It's supposed to be realistic combat not the run-of-the-mill arcade style FPS.
Does this mean that there will be other issues such as the 3rd person view disappearing in SP and the level of control that goes with that? (sticking against wall to sneak a look etc)
Has the storyline or missions changed somewhat?
Will there be an online function? (although I dont use the ps2 online, there are others who possibly wish to know)
Will the weapon list end up changing?
I have noticed the weapons in First person on view, can this be switched off?
Will there be the same sort of control interface (which works well)? or will it become rehashed despite the button location being nearly the same on both consoles.
Is it going to be a direct port from the Xbox version (albeit tweaked to a lower spec?)
Lastly, thanks for taking the time to have a look at this post and I would appreciate that you don't start flaming this topic as I'm probably a bit too over the hill to care about console squabbles. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif
cheers
