A Mask & A Thrown Wall Switch Bug?

I am on the part where u hit the switch, jump on the platform, run against the wall, jump to the column, rebound up the walls, and then go to the swining bar. I know you are supposed to swing from bar to hit the switch, but i seem to be having some problems with it.

Notice how i dont hit it? i have swung from every spot on the bar, but i just cant get high enough to hit the switch. If this is a bug, is there a way to solve it, if not, what do i need to do?

U should notice: u have actully hit the switch: it is activated!!The problem in this switch is not the y axis, it's the x axis: u should hit it right in the middle to be sure u hit it: not a bit to the right nor to the left...

ive swung from every possible part of bar, but his hands touch the switch, and thats it. nothing happens because i dont go high enough, i have pics but its on my desktop pc and im on my laptop. i just seem to hit too low on the switch, right below, and ive seen pics of people hitting it full on. and if u see my pic, if u move the prince to the left, you will see that he cant touch it to activate it.

It is possible to swing and release from most any bar at different locations (heights).
You may be pressing the release button too soon launching you too low to the button.
It helps if you have slowed down time to better time yourself when you press the release button.

What sort of controller are you using?

MuOnlineDarkWiz, the switch is on in ur pic man http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif!!!It IS on!!! Just go back the way u came from on the tip of the edge and u will find a new platform is out from the wall!!
