Is this game going to have this feature? It would definitely make it more realistic.

The series never had this as an option. And to be honest, it would be pretty tough for those long shots in multiplayer.

not true, in lockdown which wasn't that great, the feature was implemented but it was abused, the person could hold their breath for about 30 seconds let go and do it all over again without a breath in between.
i think in terms of rifles and sub machine guns, if you just finished sprinting then your gun should move a little when you look down the sights, don't over do it, just a little and you should hear the person breathing heavier

I only have 2 problems with that feature:
1. In real life you don't have to hold a key or button to hold your breath. In the game we have enough to do with our hands as it is, in order to get things done in a realistic manner and timeframe.
2. The swaying around has been exagerated in every game I've seen it in, except GRAW.

1. In real life, you can decide whether to hold your breath or not. And also, the only time somebody holds their breath is when they're using their scopes, especially the ones on sniper rifles.
2. Lets just hope that the game won't have ANY autoaim whatsoever.

What I'm saying is that in the real world holding your breath takes no mechanical effort, where as in the game, you need to hold a trigger, button, or key, that could keep you from performing another task.
Holding your breath is realistic and important, but it should not be a mechanical "task".
Here's a suggestion; since holding your breath for a scoped shot is basically automatic, requiring no mechanical effort from hands, etc, what if when you zoom (scope) you automatically hold your breath, up to 10 seconds or so, after that the view simulates breathing. So you can't sit there zoomed with a perfectly still view for ever.

I stand corrected, you are right about holding your breath in Lockdown.
You will have to excuse me since I only played Lockdown for a solid month then dropped it. I went back to playing Black Arrow because Lockdown was anything and everything but Rainbow Six.

I don't want to see that in Rainbow Six.We already have it for Brothers in Arms. When you use a sniper I don't mind but for a rifle is stupid!!!
Realism is nice but I'm playing a game because its not real!

If that's the case, why do developers make realistic games?

They make it realistic to a point.I don't need a game to be 100% realistic to be fun.I still like the little invented stories that goes whit the realism.
