Hey -

What's your favorite tracks so far, from among the original ones that come with the game?

Mine are Stones-Satisfaction, Blur, Little Barrie-Surf Hell. So far, the "most fun" one to play is "Surf Hell" because there's just a handful of notes to get right, and it rocks.

Which tracks do you like best, so far?

i don't remember surf hell that well, ima have to go back and check it out! i think i only did the rehearsal and then the event on that one.

for me because i'm muse fanboi;
'Unnatural Selection'-- super fun once you get it down. i have no idea how matt bellamy sings and plays this **** at the same time.

'Plug In Baby', although i wish they would have tabbed the synth part during the verse that is commonly played on guitar live.

'Slither' is a great riff and i love the intro and chorus chords.

anything by the Black Keys/Dan Auerbach (spelling) is good! I hope they put 'Tighten Up' in the DLC.

'Take me out' (single note arrangement) is fun.

'where is my mind' - a classic that always makes me think of Fight Club http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

i despise playing the main riff of 'vasoline', but i love the rest of it.

I have to agree, 'Unnatural Selection' really jumps out as a fun song to play.

I also like 'Bodysnatchers' which has a few cool grooves in it that I might not have discovered without playing it through Rocksmith.

Haven't played through all the songs yet, but I do like Chimney and Good Enough out of songs I hadn't heard before.

I like all the songs so far, except for the Kings of Leon song that comes at about the 4th stage of the Journey.

It also took me a few times to get past that song, and I just hated it more and more. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

they put Kings of Leon in so that we could suck up to our girlfriends/wives after we spend hours upon hours playing rocksmith. hahaha.

Titus Andronicus, "A More Perfect Union", which is from my favorite album of 2010 "The Monitor".

I'd like to see a Jersey Indie Pack #1:
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists
Titus Andronicus
Screaming Females
Spider Bags

surprisingly, my favorite song in the game is one that i had never heard before... Chimney by the Yellow Moon Band... that song is amazing, songs like that are the reason why i play guitar.

Just crested 11.5 million points today, and just counted 7 songs that I haven't played yet, and probably 8 that I've only played once based on my scores. Yeah, I play a lot of Rocksmith, and there are definitely songs that I find myself playing over and over again.

Favorite song to play on Master mode: Muse "Plug in Baby" Main riff doesn't require any shifting but still sounds pretty bad a$$. This means I can hold my guitar behind my head and make faces at my roommate while playing the main riff like a rock god. Rocking is important.

Favorite song that won't let me play master mode it even though I swear I'm playing everything right: Radiohead "Bodysnatchers" - this is also the only song in the game that I had on my ipod before Rocksmith was released (I only listen to hip-hop/dj music nowadays... and still rock harder than almost everyone I know. Ironic?).

Favorite song to play that I'd probably never listen to in real life: the Cribs "We Share the Same Skies" - the main riff has a lot going on in it and definitely kicks my butt if I'm not paying attention.

Favorite song that I play because I like the song even though the guitar part is boring: Sigur Ros "Gobbledi****" - for additional amusement I like to sing along to the background vocals.

Favorite song that has actually taught me some sweet riffs to play at guitar center for the ladies: the Clapton song

Glad to see Allman Bros "Jessica" is coming up in the next couple weeks, I've tried to learn that guitar solo multiple times and have always come back empty handed.

No satisfaction, House of the Rising Sun, and sweet home Alabama

Other than that I don't really care for any of the other tracks on the disc, but at least the DLC will have some good stuff

Mean Bi tch is one of my favorites as well... and I have played Disonaur by Space Ostrich (or is it the other way around...) a ton... not particularly difficult, but fun to play.

I just started playing guitar 6-7 weeks ago so some of these tracks are quite hard for me, so the 1st one that I've been able to 'almost' master is 'In Bloom'. For that reason alone I have a ball playing it.

4 so far; Angela, Next Girl, I Got Mine, and Surf Hell.

I wasn't thrilled about the track list at first because I wasn't familiar with most of them but I like most of them.

I like the Eric Claptin song. More Claptin....more blues. If Rocksmith comes out with anything "Blues", I'll be there waiting to Download. How about some 12 bar blues. Nice and simple chords, and some string bending, hammeron, pull off, sliding, muting, ohhhh yeahhhh Blues.

As of right now, my favorites are Next Girl and In Bloom. Which is probably why I play them over and over. The wife probably gets tired of hearing them...

As someone who was seriously irritated by all the "MOAR MUSE" people over on the Rock Band forum, I hate to admit that Unnatural Selection is currently my favorite song to play. Haven't gotten it to master mode yet, but almost there (can't seem to crack 97K points.) Time to check out "plug in baby" :P

Other favorites are Radiohead's song that isn't High and Dry (can't remember name off top of my head,) Mean *****, Chimney and though they are fairly simple, I also like the Black Keys songs (including the new one.) There's a lot of songs I like, but that's all I can think of right now.
