Hey, I'm new.

So anyways, I'm on the Drawbridge section of Sands of Time (PC version), where you need to pull a lever, then Farah pulls hers, bridge turns and goes up, etc...

The problem is, after going back into the structure (after the cutscene where the Prince rips his sleeve off), I pull a lever and the bridge turns my way. I have to get on it, then Farah does her thing and pulls hers, and the bridge turns with the Prince on it...

And after the bridge turns, I can't move anymore. At all. All I can do is mess around with the camera, but the Prince won't move and I can't use the Sands either. He just won't move at all!

And if I press ESC and select quit, I get this crash...

I'm using 3D Analyzer to run it, is that related? I've googled around and some people got the same issue, but the closest to a solution I was able to find was to just "keep trying". Believe me, I have... it doesn't work.

So, help please?

A game can crash for any number of reasons. It is not perfect.
Prince of Persia games reward the game player who saves their game position often.
Try again from a previously saved game. The odds are that it was just a fluke.
If you were to tell us you have done the same thing four times and crashed identically four times, then I would be looking to try to alter your computer options somehow.

Hey Jay, thank you for your reply. Thankfully I'm one of those gamers with a strange obsession about keeping as many savegames as you can! I did replay the chapter a lot, but always starting from the same sand savepoint - I just started from a different sand and it all worked out well!

Thank you very much for your advice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
