It works fine when i goto game in the editor but when i type \map aces test it doesn't work in the console? I read u can clone it and make it a DM or FFA or something but I'm having trouble finding that option plz let me know if you have any idea how to do this as i have near 12 hours in this map and want to send it to friends to help in its progress. Ty.

I just learned actually, by reading this post:

To quote Machazereel_01

quote:
I presume its a multiplayer map? what you do is save the map, then clone the mission, call it one of the following things: FFA(death match map) TDM(team death match) or ASSAULT (guess what that means =P) once this is done, delete "mission01" export to engine and save the map again, these steps worked for me, made it possible for me to load the map in the multiplayer menu.

Good luck.

Hope that helps, it did with me!

Weirdly, that doesn't work for me. Do you include the "()"?

It's the mission name that is important. If you are only going to play FFA on the map, just rename the mission FFA by selecting Rename from the Mission menu, or create one with New. If you want FFA and TDM on the map, then once you can additionally Duplicate the mission and callit it TDM. When the map is renamed to FFA, TDM or ASSAULT, you can then choose it in multiplayer set up. See page 67 of the manual.

This is just a guess - maybe the problem is the space in your level's name? It looks like the name is currently "aces test". Perhaps you could try renaming it to aces_test or acestest? Or maybe try surrounding the map name with quotes?

For single player maps you need to load it from the console, by pressing ' and entering \map [mapname], replacing [mapname] with the name that you saved it as.

It might be a file error. The only other solution I have found to this is so far is to remake your map, or find an earlier save http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif.

Those are usually just warnings, so probably not. Have you saved your level in the Level directory where all the other game levels are, in a folder with the same name as your level, just like all the others?
