Game start issue

So I started having an issue today with the game. It gets to the title screen, tells me to wave to start the game..and nothing happens. the little me is waving his right arm. The blue text box follows my hand around as I wave..but the game doesnt continue. I have done the kinect calibration, moved the sensor, re-started the game..even had my GF try and nothing.

other games work..just not this one. Am I doing somehting wrong or is it a defective game. I played yesterday for 30 min or so..and now nothing.

I find that you have to wave back and forth a bit faster and it will start. Try it.

what i ended up doing was erasing my saved data and it started working again
