Russia's PAK-FA 5th generation fighter is in development!

Yesterday the military experts from Sukhoi corporation sent schemes of a new PAK-FA 5th generation air superiority fighter to the industrial plant to create first flyable prototypes. They are supposed to take off next year.
The plane is build with the latest technology and will have plasma-stealth and original stealth capabilities. It is a brand new design for the sukhoi. You will not see famous Su-27 design. Some say it will look like F-22 but I think that they both will just be very angular, that's it.

ah dude i saw that it looks very futuristake i wonder if it could stand toe to toe with Americas F-35

it is supposed to... But Sukhoi will not be ab;e to hover...Sukhoi PAK-FA is actually to counter F-22 Raptor.

Also MIG is developing it's own 2 PAK-FA fighters. They are supposed to counter F-35. One is a heavy fighter and one is light fighter. But no informations about them...military secret http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

Yesterday on the airshow in Moscow one of the generals was talking about Sukhoi PAK-FA and he said that this plane is also supposed to stay on combat in a close space http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Anyway, top speed is expected to exceed 3000 km/h, there was information about something in the range of 3250-3275 km/h. And since it has big and powerful engines, it will be the counterpart of F-22.
