In Until Uru, you do not click on the markers. You have to click the red flashing icon on the left in the KI when you get near enough a marker. I would never have guessed that after playing Uru CC ( or Uru to D'ni)

Big thank you to obrienca for the info (in PM)

Though now that I have gotten a little farther and am playing the 14 missions from the little room behind Great Zero, my avatar needs to touch the markers (still can't click on them). Likewise, the games made up by others require the same thing, but in those cases, the markers don't disappear.

Christy, who is still googly http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif on all the marker acquisition procedures

GZM (Great Zero Marker) Markers (the red and green missions) are different kinds of markers than CGZM Markers (the yellow missions and user-created games). GZM Markers have a pulsing audio tone and a red line tracing back to the Great Zero. In UU, these must be acquired by getting within range of it (I think it's 15 feet) so that you can see it, then clicking on your KI to capture the Marker. In Uru: CC, you must click on the Marker itself to capture it (a process that lacks sense like Achenar lacks sanity http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif).

CGZM (Calibration Great Zero Marker) Markers are white in color (not referring to the color of the indicators in the KI here), silent, and visible from any distance. These must be physically intersected with in order to "collect" them, because they are the Great Zero's most precise way of calibrating itself... the GZMs are a more vague calibration tool.

If CGZM Markers fail to disappear during a CGZM mission or a user-created Marker quest, you've encountered a bug in the game's engine wherein it actually places a few too many "instances" of the Marker at each location, so even when you collect a Marker, several inaccessible copies are left standing in its place.

Thank you Alahmnat for sharing this info with us.
It did explained very well why many markers would not disappear. What a releif. I was afraid that after the 14 missions, I would have found out that I had done something wrong about them.
One less, "big stress". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif
