I unlocked bodyguard yesterday and wanted to try it out today. I thought it would be perfect in steal the artifact so I joined a game which was about to start.
After using the ability several times, and confusing my pursuers, it was about 3 minutes left of the match and I had a decent lead. When I was carrying the artifact for the last time, I quickly joined a stationary blend group and waited for my pursuers to arrive. Soon the first one appeared, and I activated a bodyguard who stunned pursuer A. Then pursuer B comes and tries to kill the bodyguard when I try to stun him at the same time. I don't remember what happened, but all of a sudden half the lobby are standing and wiggling as if they're about to strike (like when you have to wait for a kill/stun animation to end), but nothing's happening. During this time, I cant move or deploy my disguise, but I can use bodyguard again. However, this does nothing, so I have to wait until the artifact resets. Then I'm free to move around as usual.
Also, during that time, it seemed like several players were animus hacked because the effect showed and the sound for it played. At the time I thought they all tried to kill me, but now it seems impossible that they were able to kill each other by animus hacking.
Idk if anyone has encountered this before, but it looked VERY funny. I would have taken a photo of it or recorded it if I weren't busy LMAO.
