Radiotraffic could progress the gameplay of SH5

Planning tactics by the enemy radiomessages wich are intercept....
A convoy that is changing course....couple of destroyers hunting...contact with other subs..forming a wolffpack in single player mode..... milkcow location and rendez-vous...a SOS message from a ship under attack.....this really would be awsome!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

of course....radio-traffic was low in WW2 time at sea....but i'm sure there always was a message to intercept.... i believe our captain in "das Boot" changed course after they received a message that a other german sub spotted a convoy!! The radio-officer is one of the key-figures on board and should get more skills in the new game....
what do you think of it?

I absolutly 100% agree, more radiotraffic should increase the realism and feeling of immersion. Contact reports from other subs (and occasionally other kriegesmarine ships and luftwaffe recce aircrafts). Weather reports and forcasts. News and war bulletins from the propaganda minestry... SOS from damaged ships. Reception of radio messages should be heard in morse code in the radio room and faintly also in the captains stateroom and the control room.

Well, all that was accomplished in GWX 3 for SH3. The messages were all eye-candy, but it got SO ANNOYING constantly having to check radio messages at high TC (and yes, they drop you to 1TC) that I switched over to WAC 3.0. I did not modify the TC settings because then I just constantly hear morse code, and THAT is also rather annoying.

So I dunno. May be a good feature, but I have a feeling they should just include the most important messages. Or have a message filter, if you don't want constant weather reports.

...and knowing Ubisoft, there WILL be a bug that sends 5 weather reports per hour http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif
