QUICK! Patch help. [Archive]

Ok i just bought Far Cry (finally) and when i go to patch the game from 1.0 to 1.30 i get this error:

Then if i remove it i get this:

If someone could help that would be awesome.

Try CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) be sure to check for issues.

and/or Windows installer cleanup utility (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301)

I too just bought the game, its working fine, but do i need to install all 5 patches or just some or one of them? my game's version is 1.00

You need patch 1.3 only for singleplayer. If you are going to play online multiplayer you need to install 1.31 and 1.33 also.

So 1.3, 1.31 and 1.33. Three patches. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

It would be nice if UBI made that clear in the download section.
