Been doing some experimenting, and just wanted to share what the Message Priority attribute does in the SAlarm actor.

0 = Displays whatever messages you put in AlarmDescription and AlarmDescriptionSpy attributes

1 = Same as 0 but adds a one second alarm ring

2 = Displays "You've been detected".

3 = Same as 2; no apparent difference that I could see initially

4 = Displays "You've been detected - area isolated". Obviously for use with triggered movers and things.

5 = Same as 4, but adds alarm sound and countdown

So if you want to display a message when a trigger happens without sounding an alarm, use 0 or 1 on an SAlarm that has the trigger's event name in its tag property.

Hope this helps. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That's a great post. Thanks a lot. I even think mods should make that sticky because you need it so often.
