"10. Squad leaders are in charge of the scoreboard. The chaps in charge don't just get the last say on who shoots when - they'll also be able to grade you on your performance, doling out the best gear and perks to the most valuable players. If this sounds like a recipe for cheat-apocalypse... it could be, but bear in mind that these rewards only last as long as the squad stays active. The second you log out, it's back to square one. Ubisoft has yet to explain how - or, indeed, if - this feature will mesh with a more traditional unlocks system."

WTH???? I do NOT want my outfitting to be chosen by a 13 yo brat who happens to be on my multiplayer team. lol this game is going downhill so fast.

I also found it hilarious that the article writer said:
"1. Distinguishing civvies from terrorists will be hard. The titular Patriots aren't card-carrying terrorist stereotypes...,but difficult to pick out at a glance....telling friend from foe won't always be as simple as spot-the-AK." This writer is a moron, didn't he/she notice that there is a conspicuous magical "enemy" icon floating above the terrorists? What's that?...you can't see the triangle??...well don't fear, just look for the red shaded silhouette of the terrorist that you can magically see through the walls and smoke with your cyborg eyeball. lol

Play well and be the leader, then.

CoD is the glitchfest it is because people can all choose a grenade launcher and start firing away. Or everyone puts on Heartbeat Monitor and camping begins. Or carry x3 Frags and use the game's physics to place it in the middle of the map.

LOL, it took all my zen training in Nepal to refrain from replying to Yabab-2's response when I first read it a few weeks ago. He/she/it is missing the whole point. I don't care if you go 50-1 on a match, nobody should have so much executive power to decide who has which equipment (and God forbid "perks").

LoL... You are soo lost into the depths of darkness in these forums. I'm actually the few of the sane people who post here and actually give it a thought or two about the news that are posted here.

And I'm not even going to get into the whole 'realistic' hipocrisy you all preach here. You want realistic tactical gameplay but you want to have a wide-range of freedom when choosing loadouts? yeah... 'cause military forces are all about listening & caring about what soldiers want.

Special Forces units DO have that kind of freedom. Rainbow (being fictional of course) is among the blackest of the black ops units. Missions might dictate certain requirements and equipment to complete objectives but...

If a French Rainbow team member (Louiselle for example) wants to use a FAMAS instead of another 5.56 rifle you better believe they'd let him use a FAMAS...AND they're going to let him mod it the way he wants.

It's not a bad idea! If the perks are even for each team I could see it working! If it can helper weaker players in the team it could be pretty cool!

Doesn't really affect me since I am ALWAYS going to be the leader. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

There is always ways around this one would be to have a warmup round before the match and by default the top score would have rank and if he leaves or something it passes down to next in line!!

I still think there should be an option so people can use whatever gear they want, isn't that why people liked r6vegas? they got to choose their gear and weapons in multiplayer?? I mean I agree that having a leader dictate what gear they give is for some is a bit much, but really here is a solution, why not make the weapon/gear advantages and disadvantages more pronounced. say if you have to strike fast and your men beef up on heavy armour, they get lesser mobility compared to medium or light armour, or mayve if they have longer weapons, it may not be easy to use for cqb especially around corners, I mean choosing the correct gear for your playing style or situation should be a real learning curve on its own especially when you kit out your team or yourself to do the job. I mean if the perks wind up like the COD series might as well call it "rainbow 6 Modern warfare clone"
