Greetings!
Ever since the beta, I've had connectivity issues in the 'hood and the city when the population was around 10 or higher. I'd experience a disconnection from the server. What *I* would see is me running around the age, with no one else talking/chatting, and if they WERE moving, it was walking into a wall or running around in circles. I also could not click on any linking books or other "action items". What everyone else would see is my character going 'ghosty'... that is standing still, occasionally my chat was reported as coming thru, but repeated 5 or 6 times. I could not read anyone else's chat, tho.
My current setup is a Comcast Cable modem connected to a NetGear Wireless router. My main PC is connected wirelessly to the router and hence the modem. I've tried running my PC both off a wired port on the router, and wired to the modem itself. Neither has produced a noticable improvement.
I had heard about prior issues with Comcast Broadband accounts, but I'm told those issues were addressed.
If anyone out there having similar problems? Anyone offering a possible solution?
