I heard there were differences on the original xbox for Double Agent compared to the xbox360. I was wondering what exactly? and also is the original xbox version supported to be playable on the 360?

It is basically Chaos Theory 2, but you are a double agent in JBA.

Not even close to chaos theory perhaps maybe in the L&S gameplay but not in story sinc there is no Masse algos, WW3, Mercenaries, no SvM it has the Spy vs Spy thing that isnt any stealthy unlike the Chaos Theory that has the stealthy SvM.
