Are there any plans to bring SHIII to the Mac?

I think this has been asked before but a long long time ago. Unfortunatly this would be unlikely, the market for sims is smaller than main-stream shooters. Even if this game sells very well in the main stream (and it looks like it could) the market for a Mac version would be less than a PC version and thus would be a risky venture for the publisher and realistically I don't think it will happen. Same goes for other OS's/machines.

If its not OPEN GL ... which it is not ... then no MAC. Sorry about that.

For anyone wishing to run SH3 and other games on a Mac, Apple's 'Bootcamp' should make things a lot easier (http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/). I kinda saw this coming when macs recently moved to Pentium chips.

Now Windows users can own a Mac http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif (if they can afford it)

Which means it won't run on Macs with PowerPC processors - only those with Intel chips will do.

Maybe I should experiment a bit with SHIII in VirtualPC. WindowsXP is horribly slow, Windows98 doesn't run too badly and Windows95 is by far the fastest of the lot - but I doubt whether SHIII will run under the last.

So far my SH# runs better, loads faster, and looks way better on my new macbook pro, using camp boot to run win xp. Oh yeah, win xp is faster too! Am I the only one to think that is freaking ridiculous!!!! Apple ROCKS! Welcome to the gamining world mac folks! I am totally a convert now, and will never buy another pc as long as mac has intel chips!
