How to log into Uplay on your console!

I;ve seen a few threads asking about this so here's a quick outline of how to link your gaming profiles to Uplay.

To link up your Uplay account you need to go to the main game menu (when the game starts up), press Y/triangle to enter the Uplay menu.

Once in the main Uplay area, go to "account" and submit the email and password you use with your Ubi.com (you forum login) account and it'll link up. Your XBox/PS3 will sync with your Uplay account.

If you visit www.uplay.com (http://www.uplay.com) and log in with your ubi.com details you can edit your account setting and see what Uplay has to offer.

I did that just fine, but the webattles still don't work. It says "Sorry...

We didn't find your gamer ID based on your Ubi account. Did you link your profile in Uplay? "

Does it have to be an Xbox live acount? Becuse my main acount isnt XBL but i have a silver acount on the same console.

Thank you, I was wondering how to do this, I guess I just didn't pay close enough attention. I was browsing the site trying to find a way to link my gamertag to the site lol. I guess that's not what I wanted.

Been looking for the uplay thing for hours on my xbox,

p.s Should just make "Connect to Uplay" a menu Item!

When I try to add my account to Uplay in Assassin's Creed 2, it just says this: "Cannot connect to Ubisoft servers at this time. Please try again later."

Been waiting many hours and it still doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

I tried entering my email and password on the uplay area on AC2 and it says one of the areas is blank (even though no areas are blank), then it says an internal error occurred the next time I try entering my email and pass again. when is it not linking my account?

UPlay is for all platforms however you need a Uplay enabled game to access it and as Assassins Creed 2 is the first game to release with Uplay and has yet to release on PC the service isnt yet available on PC.

You can however access the service via the website to register and collect your initial points and have a look around etc

I feel dumb! I just spent 15 minutes trying to find this out. I signed in at least 6 times. Could not for the life of me figure it out. So im about to give up when i see this post on the forums. All i have to do is press "Y"!!!!!

Well, I'm able to log into Uplay just fine except the problem is the username I log into here on my computer is different to my PSN ID. All my details (including email address, rewards etc) are the same except when I log into my PS3, it recognises me under my PSN ID not my UPlay one! Why not let us log in using our PSN ID's instead of having separate accounts?

Thanks for the help! Think something as simple as this everyone should see it. But the help menu needs to say access the action/rewards through the game itself, poeple think through a web browser.

the only trouble is that actully uplay cant sync if you didn't login before get an achievement in ps3, noticed this because since yesterday i was getting thropies and now noticed that i hadn't uplay points

When i press triangle on the main menu, Uplay loads up, then it gives me a message saying "Error loading the information.Returning to game"

Am i doing something wrong?
