wi-fi sucks for gaming, especially on ps3.. look it up.

never said it wouldn't be good.... i just said it sucks for gaming... with a wired connection you get a much faster and stable connection compared to wi-fi.. and there's no way around it.. although people have done weird things to try. like making aluminum foil 'radar dishes' for example.

probably just more bugs/unstable coding. you should be able to host them.

The PS3 versions servers have been "Garbage" for the last two days. Hosting problems, Network Errors, Weird Lag in games, Stats have been all over the place.
This really hasn't been to bad of an issue. The servers have always been pretty stable. This weekend they are almost unplayable!

well i wish it was only something about this weekend, but i was never able to host matches since i bought the game( i got it the first day it was out). so thats obviously not the problem, cause i launch the game and then like i said after 3 seconds a message appears saying "Failed to create the game".

Have you tried running the PS3 hardwired and set to DMZ?
If you don't have the correct ports open or a higher than normal latency to the FC2 servers it will fail. One of my clan members can play MP fine if someone else hosts but because his ISP blocks port 80 and 443 he can't host.

First you would need to test you ports to see if there are open and available.
http://www.canyouseeme.org
Will test that. Then you can go to http://www.portforward.com and find your router and follow the step by step instructions.

I am having the same problem, my ps3 is a dmz and hardwired. I cant host matches or publish maps. Have you tried to publish yet? I contacted ubisoft and they said that my ports werent open, so I made it a DMZ and are still having problems.
