Computer 'tard needs help

I just got the PC version and it won't load at all. A window comes up and this is the first bit off gobbily-****:

<?int?Setup.IDD_FilerPageWelcome.IDC_WelcomePrompt?>

Then there's a box and the only thing in that is :

English (UK)

There's a lot of other **** that isn't even complete or I'd type that in too.

I've never had a problem with any game before: Half Life2, FarCry, etc.

HELP! Please!!

Im having the same problems....sems like the copy protection cant be read by the DVD drive....I'll let you know more when I get some answers.

Any of these programs installed on your rig?

Nero Image Drive
Phantom CD
Clone CD

YES - it's a purchased game.

As far the programs, the only one close is NERO, but I don't see that it's an image drive. It's for burning data disks, music disks, CD covers, etc.

Nero can still be the source of your problem.

The program is called Nero OEM Suite.

I guess I'll try uninstalling it tonight and give it another go.
