I'm curious to see just how personalized the program will be. Will one be able to exclude/modify activities as necessary due to health issues or disability?

The game sounds interesting. Already a huge fan of Yourself! Fit aka My Fitness Coach.

Putting this one on my xmas list.

Your Shape is definitely on my birthday list! I like the idea of there being a camera that can monitor me.

As far as how personalized, there is a lot of info on the site that may help. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Also, if you haven't already, check out the Your Shape Facebook. It get's updates: http://www.facebook.com/yourshape?v=wall

The Facebook link is broken or at least Firefox tells me so. It allows me into my Facebook acct?
Anyway, can you point us to a specific answer from UBI? My wife wants it badly so she may do easy workouts to help her with her PT. She has had several back surgeries. Also some paralysis of the right leg. Enough she uses a cane or staff to assist walking. She enjoys the WII fit plus but mostly the Yoga and Sit down games. Can she handle your shape or is it just going to depress her as her movement is no where near what I see in the trailers for the game?

I purchased the game in hopes that all the different exercises offered would also offer a higher level of personalization...especially in case of disability.

Unfortunately, the camera and its fuction as incorporated into the workout, makes for a frustrating experience when some things just aren't possible for you to do.

Yourself! Fitness for the PC (aka My Fitness Coach for the Wii) is very similiar to Your Shape but without the camera at far less expense.

There is no way of letting the game know of injuries. It is not personalised enough to pick and choose the specific exercises you can and can't do. I know because i have a wrist injury which prevents me from doing any sort of exercise which puts great pressure on my wrist, eg push-ups but there is no way for me to skip or eliminate these exercises from my workout.

I have done the yoga component of it a few times and there are no sitting down moves.
