Let put them all into one easy to find place. Instead of everywhere then we dont have to flick through the forums to agree with everything http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

OK heres mine:
This game is waay more easy online than its predessesors, its been stripped of everything that gave it depth and, more importantly, gameplay.

The forums are given the cold shoulder by ubi and they are littered with worthless stickies and im fed up with us being ignored.

Thats all very well and good. But you know as well as the rest of us that this thread will be ignored and within a week there will be more countless (and almost identicle) rant threads about someones unsupported 8800 not working or how the safe disks dont turn.

Yes the game is more easy online. Maybe to get more people playing because the goood players wont play anyone other than their online friends. Perhaps Ubisoft should have just given people what the vets wanted. A SCCT add on pack and went straight into Dev'ing Conviction.

It's natural for vets to resist change. We all were *****ing about the camo suit when we heard about it while CT was being developed. Yet when the game came out, we realized how cool it was. Then, after many hours of playing, we realized how lame it was that EAX kills a lot of its usefulness. The point is, though, that the vets accepted SCCT for changing SvM for the better. The changes might seem minor, but you don't realize how different the games are until you go back and play PT SvM.

As a vet of PT/CT, I don't want an exact clone with shinier graphics. But what I do want is to preserve the core elements of the gameplay from the older games. Ubisoft got rid of that in favor of making the game more "noob friendly."

As an analogy, chess isn't the easiest game in the world to learn, but it has a lot of depth once you do. Now imagine the creator makes "Chess 2," and all the pieces are replaced by queens because it's too complicated to learn how to move 9 different pieces. I don't think Gary Kasparov will be on board for that change. That's what Ubi did to SvM, and that's why the PC vets are still playing CT, or just different games entirely.

lol I like that quote. I asked this in another forum but does anyone have a good idea to help Ubisoft understand that DA multiplayer ruined the fun of splinter cell?

I don't think you can make any game '"noob friendly"'. There will always be those people out there who have no clue in the world...or those poeple who look down on everyone else, and those other people who also just don't even try to figure things out. All in all the nice people you can run into that don't suck at the game are worth finding through the chaos....sure CT had those type of "noobs" and players but it is an older game and an original one and (if you will) a funner one most of the time. DA is just that....but changed so much that I wonder where they are trying to get at. CT is about sneaking past mercs...DA seems to be sneaking around mercs.

My only beef with DA is the single-player on the 360.

The multi-player is a fresh face that I welcome. And yes, it does get to the core element of the game. CT had deathmatch? WTF is that?

Quake =/= Splinter Cell
