Help with the gunfights - PC

HELP! How do I get to draw in the gunfights, it only seems to work now and again and I'm not sure what it is I'm doing(or not doing)

This is THE most posted topic, a little searching would have shown several tips on the subject. They're called duels btw, which makes searching easier. Here is my latest technique, which has worked quite well for me.

Others use a familiarity with how the background music sounds and/or a predetermined timed countdown from failed attempts to anticipate the timing of the bell. I have found from playing the game and looking at the duel scripts though that there's a slight random window on the duration of the duels.

IMO, it's not hard to anticipate without those methods which strafe is the final one of the enemy, that's all you need to know really as far as anticipating. I feel it's more important how you setup for that last strafe.
