I dont have the game, but i am strongly considering buying it.

I just have one question, is the map editor built into the games software like Farcry: instincts map editor, or is it like Halo's seperate made map editor?

It is seperate like in UT03 (I don`t know Halos map editor), but Ubi disabled sound-importing and the Animation Browser.

Aw, is it easy to use or does it take some hex editing or dependency swapping knowledge?

Easy if you actually use tutorials, unlike most of the people here on the forums, who open up the editor, get lost and then spam with topics along the lines of "OMFG How do i made teh cube11111!!!."

Ahh so it uses seperate programs to make a map? Such as, 3Ds max and A hex editor of sorts?
And last question, Is the editor run on the Xbox or your PC?

SvM uses the Unreal Engine. Which uses the UnrealEd. Its a fully functional Editor. You could do coding with it and you could use 3dsmax or Maya. But its not required to make a good map. You can do everything inside the editor itself without touching any other program. And of course its on PC, theres no way a the Xbox could provide it. Its a windows application that uses basically every key on the keyboard to make. This isn't some lame editor like Farcry's where you just drag and drop ****. You build everything from scratch yourself.
