Hi Bulletooth, welcome to the community. I will list some issues the community would really like fixed. The stuff I will list will meet 2 criteria.
1 - It's an issue many community members complained about, not just one or two members.
2 - They are important fixes
So here is the list:
1 - FPS - The game has major FPS drops. FPS can go from 100 down to 25 for no reason. It's these drops that make the game hard to play. It's hard to try and aim in the middle of a firefight when your great 100 FPS becomes 10 FPS. This game needs to have a smooth consistent FPS.
2 - Netcode - The netcode is poor and leads to warping, bad bullet/hit detection, trigger/bullet lag and choppy play. Ravenshield's netplay affects the outcome of a lot of firefights. When you empty an entire clip into an enemy player and he turn around and kills you, the netcode decided that outcome. When you are about to shoot an enemy player and he warps 10 feet and ends up behind you shooting you, the netcode again decided the outcome. When you are about to shoot an enemy player but your gun does not fire because of trigger lag causing you to get shot, yet again netcode decided the outcome. It is because of these reason that people spray their bullets and pray for a hit, hence the term spray and pray. Skill has been removed from the game and it has become a game of luck. I feel as if the outcomes of the firefights are not in my hands. I can't count the times where I outsmarted, aimed faster and better than my opponent but lost because my 25 bullets were not detected. What did my skill of smarts, speed, and great aiming get me, nothing. But my opponent who got outsmarted, and took 10 seconds to finally aim and shoot walked away with the victory. Why? Because the 25 bullets I put into my enemy two feet away missed due to poor netcode/hit detection.
- Gameplay - lots of people have complained about the way the rets react. Basically, they don't reward good skilled fluid gun control by penalizing bad gun control. One of the forum mods named POP had a great suggestion for the rets that rewards skill and penalizes lack of skill. However, I can't find his post. However, many people responded positively to his suggestion.
These are the three issues most talked/complained about on this forum. If UBI can finally address these issues in a patch this game can truly become one of the best.
